Harry M. Hoover

Account Executive

Harry Hoover says the HVAC industry gives him the chance to learn about cutting-edge technologies and solve complicated problems. “In some jobs,” he says, “people get stuck doing the same thing over and over. Our customers have a variety of issues, and it is up to us to find the very best solution for their particular situation. New products are always coming on-line, so the job is always changing, which I find very inspiring.”

As Key Account Manager, Harry applies his mechanical engineering background to designing the best solutions for each customer, which means setting up unique automation systems, monitoring performance for greatest efficiency, designing customized maintenance plans, and delivering 24/7 service and support. “’Reach us when you need us’ may sound like a marketing slogan, but it’s really true. Our response time is second to none. We do whatever it takes to deliver first-rate service to all our customers.”

Harry A. Herron

President and General Manager

Like many children growing up in the 1980’s, Harry Herron enjoyed watching cartoons, like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, on TV. Many of these were produced by Fred “Tex” Avery, who also created the “World of Tomorrow” series, that showed, in very funny ways, what things would be like in the future. One of Harry’s favorite segments was the “House of Tomorrow”. It described machines that would make life easier but hadn’t been invented yet.

Seeing all the new technology lit a fire in Harry, and he went on to get an Associate’s degree in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR). After receiving his training, Harry went on to start PCC Solutions and now works with a team that not only provides HVACR services but also provides lighting systems, automation technologies, and energy management plans as well to improve building efficiencies.

In addition to working with cutting-edge technologies, Harry enjoys finding, installing, and maintaining the best possible solutions for his customers. “I built PCC Solutions to focus on the customer. Some other companies emphasize the bottom line,” he says. “Here, customer satisfaction is our primary metric of success.”

Scott Hopkinson

Engineering Manager

Scott Hopkinson loves tackling challenges and solving problems. What better place to be than at the helm of PCC Solutions’ engineering department? As Engineering Manager, Scott is always seeking out the latest, state-of-the-art technologies so his customers’ automation and energy needs are managed in the most efficient manner possible. “I like thinking outside the box to come up with the best solutions for our customers,” he says. “This business keeps us on the forefront of technology, which is an exciting place to be.”

Whether it's the latest software, hardware, or DDC system, Scott and the rest of the engineering team thoroughly vet all new products to ensure they meet the highest industry standards and will best handle their customers’ current and future needs. Scott views each customer and vendor relationship like a partnership. “We work with the industry’s top equipment manufacturers, so our customers get the very best products. Our customers come to us with specific issues. We don’t stop until we provide solutions that go above and beyond their expectations and make sure we’re setting them up for success.”

Donald Bushman

Account Manager

Donnie Bushman first started working on machines as a young boy. When asked about working on machines at such a young age, he share “I watched my Dad work on things, and helped whenever I could”. He started taking HVAC classes in high school and then earned his certification. “I’m really passionate about this work. I love what I do.”

He says everyone at PCC Solutions stays up-to-date with the latest innovations, and then provides the best systems to their customers. “We give every project 100%. We’re not some big corporation that hands you off to third parties. We are Pittsburgh-based. Each one of us works directly with customers and provides unmatched dedication and responsiveness throughout every project.”

Cory Bushman

Account Manager

Cory Bushman knew he’d found his career path when he walked into his first class on direct digital control (DDC) systems. DDCs are the heartbeat of a modern building’s electrical operations. “Learning the intricacies of DDCs and everything involved in connecting, operating, and maintaining them was life-changing,” he recalls. Cory’s passion translates into excellence for all his customers. As Field Operations Manager, he oversees the installation of refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (RHVAC) technologies in commercial and industrial buildings, corporate offices, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities.

Though he applies his highly-trained expertise and diligence to all projects equally, he says the healthcare facilities strike a special chord. “Designing a system that controls the temperature, humidity, and refrigeration in a hospital, to stabilize newborns and help people recover when seriously ill or injured, is an immense responsibility. We are extremely dedicated to making everything just right.”
